There is the issue of whether or not Obama should elect a new justice or leave that decision up to the new president, so Scalia's death is causing a big controversy.Yes, I do think that there should be pressure put on the congress to deal with the deadlock problem because without a justice to approve or deny the case, or without any set decision is faulty in ways that makes the cases require new rearguments, which in my opinion, seems like a hassle that can be avoided if the congress deals with the issue.
